As you may know, the ISTH Congress no longer produces a printed abstract book. Instead, you will receive an Abstract CD-Rom onsite.
You now have the possibility of preparing your own specific Congress Itinerary. More importantly, the ISTH 2009 congress has developed an exclusive and innovative option with the possibility to print a Personal Abstract Book (please note that you have the option of only printing your itinerary without the abstracts of the selected sessions. This option becomes available as soon as you are about to print your itinerary by selecting the pages you would like to print). This Personal Abstract Book can be linked to the Itinerary planner so you can see all the abstracts in the sessions you plan to attend or, if you prefer, you can prepare a personalized abstract book with only abstracts of interest, or only the abstracts from your country or hospital, for example.

View Abstracts of Invited Speakers
All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the
Congress Abstract CD-ROM and distributed to attendees and
subscribers as a supplement to Journal of Thrombosis and
Haemostasis. Abstracts will be available for viewing on the Congress website approximately 3 weeks before the meeting and afterwards on the JTH online site with free public access.
- Abstracts will be accepted either as a poster or an oral communication.
- Presenting authors for posters will be requested to attend their poster and be available for discussion from 12:30 PM to 2:15 PM on the day of your poster session.
- The usable poster board surface is· 83 inches (211 cm) wide and 46 inches (117 cm) high (landscape format).
- Please use letters large enough to be read from a distance of about 5 feet (1.5 meters).
- Oral presentations will be allocated 10 minutes for
presentation plus 5 minutes for discussion. Equipment for projection of PowerPoint presentations onto a single screen will be available in all session rooms.
- Full details will be included in the abstract acceptance letter.
If the research included in your abstract was supported by a
pharmaceutical company you must indicate the company's role in
analyzing the data or preparing the abstract.
